Tour de Nowhere - Idaho Edition
Hi everyone!
I finally got a new front derailleur on my bicycle. I went online and got one here in 2 days. Not sure why the bike shop (who ordered the wrong one the first time) wouldn’t do the right thing and get me the right one but it’s here and it’s awesome.
I have a weekly zoom with my good friend Roma. Last week she announced that she is doing a Bike MS event in Kellogg, Idaho in September. Well of course I immediately signed up. I am super excited about it. We’re not sure which routes we’ll do yet. It’s a two day ride. I am going to let Roma pick since it was entirely her idea and I have already changed her schedule.
Since the rides each day are out and back it is truly a continuation of the Tour de Nowhere.

You know you want to donate. You can’t resist can you?
A little bit about my story. In 2002 I was diagnosed with MS. I have been so fortunate and I am really excited to ride to support a cure for MS. Many folks who have MS are not as lucky as I am. My luck started in the very beginning when I met a wonderful MD who also had MS. Her name was Patty Ammon, MD. She put me on a path that has served me well all these years. Early on she told me, “Cathy you have been hit by your cosmic 2by4 and now we’re going to teach you how to duck”. She also told me, “If you don’t use it you’ll lose it”. So I decided that an object in motion tends to stay in motion.. so I have been in motion ever since.
I hope you’ll all consider donating to cure this horrible disease.
Hugs
——Cathy
